It's been getting harder & harder for me to be able to take photos here in France. The weather has been all shades of confusion and I can't deal.
One moment you see the glorious sun, we run out to take photos and right in the middle of all that the sun disappears and worst still it begins to rain.
My son's teacher went on an expletive yesterday I couldn't stop laughing. French people tie their mood and day to the weather especially during the weekends when you'd love to go out and be with family. Anyway that has been the situation in a nutshell. We pray for Paris at this time as well cos "La Seine" is rising and there's risk of collapse of the bridges and homes.
Notwithstanding, you are all very welcome to my blog this week. How have you all been? Today's post won't be overly long and I do know many of you are lovers of the oversized sweater trend. The look was totally unplanned as we're having spring weather on this side of town, so I just went with the flow.
Oversized sweaters are the new chic style for winter and whether you style it up or down, you're still a winner. How would you style yours?
I decided to go with these beautiful pair of boots from Fashionnova. I eventually got my items and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! ( not in a good way). I'm not mad at these boots at all as they are super warm it's unbelievable, and super high. I've been dying to have a pair of burgundy/deep red OTK boots and I had to snatch it super quick from Fashionnova which unfortunately I didn't receive on time. I wore a pair of transparent tights which I will highly recommend when you're doing an oversized sweater look for a lot of reasons. I think the illusion it gives of bare skin is absolutely fantastic, for a minimal cold weather it's the perfect clothing to keep you warm and decent, call it the perfect underwear to hold things and issues in place (catch my drift, *wink wink*)
I accessorised with this beautiful statement jewelry gifted to me by MagicSheba. A wonderful jewelry designer who makes the most beautiful jewelry I ever set my eyes on. Go check her out. Her pieces are custom made and you can't fault the detailing in her pieces. J'adore.
And la touche finale would be this beautiful black leather back pack which I'd previously styled here giving out that street style chic look.
I had the coat which is in light tan as a security blanket (don't judge) because you just never know and it was gifted to me by my husband.
Thank you all so much for dropping by and I really do appreciate your comments on my last post. Do leave some pixie dust while visiting .
